Car trip
The trip uses about 45.4 liters (12 US gallons) of fuel. All amounts are shown in US dollars (USD) — enter everything in the same currency.
What will the drive really cost?
Enter your fuel price, the distance and your car's consumption to see the true fuel cost of a trip — then add tolls and passengers to get the total and a fair price per person, in whatever currency you're paying with.
It answers questions like 'how much will my road trip cost in fuel', 'gas price calculator for a trip' and 'what's the fuel cost per person' — the price of the drive before you take it. Works with liters or gallons, km or miles, L/100km or MPG, in any currency, and splits the total fairly across everyone riding along.
Good to know
- A 300 km trip at 8 L/100km uses 24 liters of fuel.
- Mix units freely — miles with MPG, or liters with L/100km — everything is converted automatically.
- The result always tells you which currency the amounts are shown in.
How it works
- 1Enter the fuel price and whether it's per liter or per gallon.
- 2Enter the distance in kilometers or miles, and your car's consumption (L/100km or MPG).
- 3Add any tolls and the number of people sharing the cost — passengers default to 1.
- 4See the fuel needed, the total cost and the price per person instantly.
