MoneyLens is a personal expense tracker built for real bank statements. Export your statement to Excel, upload it, and get a complete spending overview: every transaction is normalized, merchants are recognized, and each payment lands in the right category. Norwegian statements with separate Ut fra konto and Inn på konto columns are understood automatically — the source column decides whether a positive number is money in or money out, and value dates like Rentedato never distort your analysis.
Transfers between your own accounts and savings are shown separately from ordinary income and expenses, so your net cash flow stays honest. Everything is free, requires no bank connection, and keeps your data in your own browser.
Good to know
- Never connects to your bank and never asks for credentials — you upload an Excel statement you exported yourself.
- Both single-amount and separate debit/credit column formats are recognized, including Norwegian statements.
- Transactions are encrypted (AES-GCM) and stored locally in your browser — nothing is ever sent to a server or AI service.
- Unlimited custom categories can be created, renamed, colored and deleted under Settings.
- Start New Analysis keeps your categories and rules; Delete All Data removes everything, including the local encryption key.
- Export everything to Excel at any time — browser storage is not a backup.
