Plan your year around verified public holidays
The Public Holiday Calendar shows the official days off for any country and year on one page. Every date comes from a maintained holiday database covering more than 200 countries and territories — movable holidays like Easter are calculated exactly, and substitute days are included when a holiday falls on a weekend and is observed on another date.
Pick a country and year, browse the full-year calendar or zoom into a single month, and tap any highlighted day for the full details: the holiday's name, date, day of week, whether it is national or regional, and its type. The long weekend finder highlights where a single vacation day can turn a holiday into a four-day break, and the built-in comparison shows how days off stack up across up to three countries.

Frequently asked questions
Where do the holiday dates come from?
From a maintained holiday database (the date-holidays library) that covers more than 200 countries and territories. No holiday dates are AI-generated or guessed, and movable holidays like Easter are calculated exactly for any year.
Are weekends counted as public holidays?
No. Weekends are highlighted separately in the calendar and never counted as holidays. The summary shows how many public holidays actually fall on weekdays vs weekends, and substitute days are shown when a country moves a weekend holiday to a nearby weekday.
Can I add the holidays to my own calendar?
Yes. Click Export .ics to download a calendar file that imports into Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook and most other calendar apps. You can also copy the full list as text or print the calendar.
Do you cover regional holidays?
Yes for countries with state or province holidays — pick a region after choosing a country and its local holidays are included, marked as regional.
